Transformer Assembly

DYMAX specialists will assemble and pressure test your new transformer. Items that may need assembly include radiators, fans, bushings, pumps, gauges and associated electrical components.

After assembly, the vacuum system in the DYMAX PowerPro transformer oil processing rig maximizes our ability to remove moisture and air voids from the windings as well as moisture from the oil. Vacuum time is based on transformer rating, voltage class and manufacturer's specifications. DYMAX's transformer oil filling procedure circulates oil through PowerPro, where the oil is heated, dehydrated, degassed and filtered before entering your transformer. DYMAX's transformer specialists continuously analyze and monitor the oil during the filling process. Our computer-operated rigs and highly skilled operators ensure that the transformer receives the highest quality oil.

When assembly and vacuum filling are completed, DYMAX's engineering and technical specialists can perform all electrical testing, including Doble power factor testing and acceptance testing , which will establish operating benchmarks for comparison with later test results to note possible deterioration in the insulation.
